This website is provided to help you explore our destinations, discover our safari experiences, and get in touch with our team. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or submitting false or misleading information through our forms.
We work to keep all information accurate and up to date. However, details such as lodge facilities, seasonal conditions, wildlife sightings and indicative prices may change, and are confirmed only in your personal proposal.
Enquiries & Proposals
Your Enquiry
Submitting the Plan Your Safari form, contacting us on WhatsApp or sending an email is an enquiry only. It does not create a booking or any obligation for you or for us.
Your Tailored Proposal
Our safari specialists will prepare a custom proposal with your itinerary, accommodation, inclusions and pricing. Proposals are subject to availability at the time of booking and remain valid for the period stated on them.
Bookings & Payments
A booking is confirmed only once you have accepted your proposal, we have received the required deposit, and we have sent you a written booking confirmation.
Deposits & Balances
The deposit amount, balance due date and accepted payment methods are set out in your proposal and booking confirmation.
Changes & Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment terms are stated in your booking confirmation. Because many lodges and camps apply their own cancellation policies, these terms may differ between itineraries.
Prices
Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise and exclude international flights unless clearly included. Prices may change before a booking is confirmed due to supplier rates, park fees, taxes or exchange rates.
Before You Travel
- You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visas required for Botswana and Zimbabwe.
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including medical and cancellation cover.
- Please seek medical advice on vaccinations and malaria precautions before you travel.
- Let us know about any dietary, medical or mobility needs so we can plan your safari accordingly.
Our Travel Partners
Your journey may include services provided by independent lodges, camps, airlines, transfer companies and guides. We select these partners with care, but they operate under their own terms and conditions, which also apply to your stay or service.
Limitation of Liability
Safari travel takes place in wild, natural environments. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, and itineraries may need to change because of weather, road or park conditions, or other events beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, Heart of Africa Tours is not liable for losses arising from such events or from the acts or omissions of independent travel partners.
We do not guarantee that this website will always be available or free from errors, and we are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from it.
